Health & Fitness Center
Our State of the Art Health & Fitness Center located on the basement level of the Armory is equipped with top-quality treadmills, free weights and a variety of brand new machines and equipment. Our fitness center serves hundreds of members who sign up for our offered gym packages.
The Drill Hall
Our 8,000+ Square Foot Drill Hall houses 1 full-sized basketball court featuring NCAA specked glass backboards with custom padding and stadium seating. The space is ideal for a game of pickup hoops, practice, drills or family fun. The Drill Hall is available to our members during open gym hours so they can play basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, indoor soccer and beyond. The space can also be rented for public and private events, youth groups, fundraisers, after school programs, leagues and clinics.
Group Fitness Studio
Our Group Fitness Studio is located on the 2nd Floor of the Athletic Club, offering 2,000 square feet of open space with maple hardwood floors, high ceilings, natural light and inviting decor. The studio is available to members during open gym hours and offers various classes throughout the week to include Zumba, Yoga and Dance every. The space can also be rented for private events. Locker & Steam Rooms
Our Locker Rooms are the perfect place to unwind after a great workout in our Fitness Center or after a game of basketball in The Drill Hall. Enjoy custom monogrammed towels, invigorating steam showers, and personalized antique lockers as part of your gym membership. Our new custom showers are adorned with locally sourced white marble for a soothing and luxurious experience. Get hot and unbothered as you soothe muscles post-workout and don’t forget to book a massage. Members can schedule appointments with our main office.
Shooting Gallery
Our restoration of the Armory’s original and historic Shooting Gallery was completed in 2018. The range allows for shooting Pistols, 22, 9mm and 357 Magnum or lighter caliber rifles. The Shooting Gallery is available to members and can also be booked by the public for private appointments and events. Contact us to book the Shooting Gallery for an event. Special arrangements can also be made for officers.
Squash Court
Our indoor Squash Court features new durable and sprung hardwood floors with the perfect grip and elasticity for maximum game-play. Equipped with high-performance safety glass, all surfaces are durable and protected to suit a singles match. Members can schedule a match anytime.
Golf Simulator
Our Golf Simulator features incredible realism, accuracy and ease-of-use in order to create an indoor golf experience. Equipped with a small lounge area, the simulator space is perfect for a private event or some friendly competition. Members can schedule use of the simulator anytime.
The Club Bar & Grill
The Club Bar & Grill features top-shelf spirits and fine dining with the freshest ingredients, friendly service and (4) plasma televisions so our guests can tune into their favorite sports game. The ideal spot for any occasion, The Club Bar & Grill hosts private member dinners, is open during all live sporting events and is available for rent. When the room is awash in bright sunlight, and the restaurant offers its legendary menu, you will be introduced to an institution unto itself and one of Whitehall’s great values.
Lower Lounge
Our members only Lower Lounge offers the perfect space to unwind and recharge. Located on the 1st Floor of the Armory, this space features a billiards table, original marble fireplace and supple leather furniture. Enjoy a cigar while playing pool or indulge in a sports game on our plasma tv. This space is exclusive to members and can be rented for private events.
Upper Lounge
Our Upper Lower Lounge offers an additional space to unwind and recharge. Located on the 2nd Floor of the Armory, this space features an original marble fireplace and supple leather furniture.
The Field Club | Clubhouse
Styled after the clubhouse at Augusta National, our plantation style Clubhouse features modern furniture, a private bar, beautiful fireplace and upper deck with views of the golf course, mountains and the Mettawee River. Located at the WFC Links Golf Course, the Club House is just 1.5 miles from the Whitehall Athletic Club. Members can enjoy the modern amenities of the clubhouse after a game of Golf, a Boating & Fishing Adventure or Skeet & Trap Shooting.
The Field Club | Golf Course
Our multi-dimensional sporting facility provides a serene escape where members can play a unique links-style Golf Course styled after the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. Our golf course has several double greens and a principal’s nose fairway sandtrap in addition to 18 pot-shaped greenside bunkers. The links’ routing takes guests down the Mettawee River towards the Champlain Canal. Measuring 2063 yards in length and consisting of three par 4s, two par 3s, and a 550-yard finishing hole, the greens are heavily undulated and each hole has multiple level tee boxes. We are fully equipped with golf carts, pull carts, and a new driving range.
